TEAM's tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

Team Global, The European Atlantic Movement, is deeply saddened by the death of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duke has supported charities like ours. He was President of the English Speaking Union and contributed to the promotion of public speaking and debate among young people across the world.

He created the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme which helped to equip and empower young people to build the skills, confidence and resilience they need to make the most out of life and make a difference to the world around them. As the scheme expanded it became established in 144 nations.

His example is an inspiration to all of us who work to help equip young people with the skills to be global citizens. He will be sorely missed.
