TEAM Global welcomed former NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, Jamie Shea in our third virtual briefing. We were pleased to have 59 virtual attendees, ranging from India, Ukraine and the UK. The briefing was moderated by Chris Poray, Research & Development Manager for the TEAM Global Research Project.
Jamie is a patron of TEAM Global and it was a privilege to have him speak to members and attendees. The briefing covered, “How NATO Can Tackle China”, with issues of Russian interference, the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative and Cyber Security issues. Following the briefing, attendees were given the opportunity to ask Jamie questions in a Q&A session.
It was also a great to see those students who engaged with the TEAM Global Research Project to continue to attend the briefings and have since started to work with TEAM on a more regular basis.
